I rode this beast 8000km in 3 weeks. To W.A. and back from Melbourne. Oh the pain.

Probably not everybody's first choice to cross the continent with, but you run what you have.
What sort of fuel range were you getting?
I've done plenty of intercapital trips on a KLR600.

From memory I was getting about 4 - 5 litres to the 100km.
Worst was about 8l/100k. I got better mileage after skippy stopped in to say hello!!
It was hello and nearly goodbye. 5obsessed.gif
