fuel levels
Hi guys. I've just got hold of a 1990 ZZR 1100. Can someone enlighten me on the operation of the 2 fuel lights. I can't see a reserve fuel tap anywhere. Cheers Grant
Re: fuel levels
If it is the same as the early zzr600 the two fuel lights are the reserve warning and they work as one. Some sort of redundancy if a bulb blows I suppose.

Re: fuel levels
Thanks, any idea how much fuel is left once these lights come on ?
Re: fuel levels
No. Kawasaki fuel level indicators are a bit hit and miss. I usually drain the tank and then refill it a bit at a time to find the reserve level - or if I get lucky it hits reserve as I arrive home and then its just a matter of emptying it into a measuring cup. Usually 4 litres, but one of our 1100Ds had 7 litres left when we turned the tap over.
