Hi all,
I have just purchased a 1988 ZX10 & need to make some small repairs to some of the fairings.
Before I go out & purchase the necessary materials I thought I'd check to actually find out what the OEM fairings are made from.
I'm assuming fibreglass but wasn't sure if carbon fibre was in general use at that time
Thanks in advance

Re: 1988 ZX10 Fairing Materials
I've just sent a text to a mate who had one years ago and rarely throws stuff out. I'll see what he has, if anything, left for it. ................edit...he just replied and has sold all of it. Sorry...

yeh not fibreglass and definitely not c/f back in 1988 ..... just typical plastic from the era.
