Powerplant exchanges

Hey Guys I have a ZZR 1100 D with a blown head can any one help me with info whether a 2003 ZZR1100 power plant will drop in ????? Thanks in advance. :)

they are essentially the same motor so I can't see why not. I have not done a swap like this - but the 1100 motor didn't change too much over its long lifespan so I can't see why it would not just be a bolt-up proposition.

ZZR1100's weren't made in 2003 were they??

I thought they only went to '01, then the 1200 from '02 to '05. Perhaps the op meant an 03 1200 motor? That will fit.
