Some people wonder why

Post by Phil »

We love our ZRX's so much.......

Well, I reckon it looks superb, goes well enough to get you into trouble with the guys in blue shirts, and are real comfy, even for guys with dodgy knees.

Here is a pic of mine in its element on the way back from the GP

Sweet.

They are a great bike considering the technology in them. (Lack of- Kawasaki could have built them in 1984- GPZ900r technology) Fun to ride as well as comfy. Mate of mine has a nearly new but out of warranty Husqvarna dirt bike that is injected- shit the fuel pump this week at a cost of $800! No fuel pump in the ZRX. My Er6ns are injected- they all (3) run like shit when cold, stall for no reason at intersections (Ninja 300 and 650 were recalled for this recently) are not great on fuel and suck to fix- took me 3 HOURS to fix a minor electrical fault on one. None of that shit with ZRX.

I feel spoiled owning two of them. :) Done 7000km in three months on my second one. Both within 100km of each other on the speedo now. Will always own a ZRX now. Regret getting rid of my GPZ900r years ago. Won't make the same mistake with the ZRX now, although I may sell one of them.
2 X ZRX1200R 4 X ER6N, GT550, 1988 ZX-10, 4 X GPZ250R, 4 X GPZ900R and GPZ750R :) Yeah I like Kawasakis.

There was 5 of us on the first day and then 4 for the rest of the trip.

My mate Mick who rode from QLD to meet us and ride with us on his stock ZRX with losts of gear went pretty well considering how much gear he was carrying, but there were sertain sections that I was riding by myself.........I bet you would know those bits ;)

Here is a great pic from the way home.

You can see how much gear Mick has on his ZRX. Other in the shot are Noel on the Trumpet and our "responsible adult" Bill on his Z750.
