Drive an f1 car
So poor old me has booked a trip to the isle of man tt next year.
My return flight is 20 days after the end of the tt and I'm flying out of Italy.
I'm a single man and I have three weeks to kill in mainland Europe. Solo.
I'm not a touristy kind of guy so I'm not sure what to do. However, this
http://www.agsformule1.com/en/drive-a-formula-1.php has caught my eye.
I'm interested whether 2k is worth driving an f1 car for a day.
Feedback? Holiday suggestions?

Re: Drive an f1 car
A guy at work has just finished a 15 day tour of the Alps around Switzerland etc on a BMW . Said it was absolutely sensational. Apparently if your thinking of binning it in the twisties a parachute is handy though........
It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

Italy has some sensational mountain passes etc If I were single Id be hiring a bike to tour around europe and discover places yourself with some basic directional guidance from others that have done it before
The F1 car sounds like fun but for me $2K isnt sitting in a swiss bank account collecting dust

Re: Drive an f1 car
I've moved up north and as part of my transfer I get a 3% rental house. 41$ a week rent
and I still get paid the same as I was when I was working/living in Sydney.

I'm getting some ideas now

Re: Drive an f1 car
I personally think driving a F1 car for the day would be a blast but I have looked into these guys before
http://www.edelweissbike.com/
If I was ever in Europe alone or at least without Family I would definitely do this.

and I would have really loved to been on this ride

Re: Drive an f1 car
Did you have a relative in WW1 or WW2 that served in Europe ?
If so, the war cemeteries/memorials/museums of France & Belgium are well worth a visit.

I've spent over 40 years of my life riding bikes .... the rest of it, I wasted ..
