Re: Aldi Motorcycle Gear
Is this the first year they have had the trailer mate thing? Has anyone else got/used the Aldi one? Would you trust it or is it flimsy like their stands?
I plan on living forever..............so far so good!!

Re: Aldi Motorcycle Gear
Living in sa and having no experience with aldi, how is their gear? It's cheap as fucky! Need a new winter jacket and at that price... The minister of war and finance might agree haha

Re: Aldi Motorcycle Gear
Generally pretty good it just doesn't have all the mod con's of a good brand name. Eg the pants have no hard armour and look like Rjays instead of Dainese or alpine star

Re: Aldi Motorcycle Gear
I've bought 2 of the front stands (gave one to a mate as thanks for painting my fairings), 1 of their folding ramps and a midlayer top. Can't complain about any of them.
The stands work perfectly and hold the bike nice and securely, I use it in the garage and also bolt it down onto the trailer when transporting the racebike (I use one of the metal straps that gets tightened over the rear tyre and it doesn't budge an inch). The ramps don't flex at all, although I don't bounce my body weight on it, and the midlayer top keeps me nice and toasty. All their products are good for occasional use, a motorbike shop would soon destroy anything from Aldi from over-use I'd say.
Cheers,
Josh

Mid layer tops and pants work a treat.
Re: Aldi Motorcycle Gear
Just got back with a transport stand, ramp and a couple of pairs of socks. Seems good quality and all works fine. Socks are great. Bargain!

Re: Aldi Motorcycle Gear
Went to my first Ali bike gear sale this morning, was like a DJ's Boxing Day sale. Grabbed a padlock stand, a couple of tankbags, midlayer pants and a pair of socks. Padlock stand had two R clips missing, but otherwise works great. Would have bought more but funds restricted. Looking forward to the next sale.
