These are good, (Vortex rearsets)MKY wrote:I have a new zx14 and would like to lower the pegs for a bit more leg room. Anyone know of some options
Adjustment Range – Back:0-20mm & Down:20mm, Up:10mm – 10mm increments, 12 positions.

You may need to change the brake line that goes between the rear slave cylinder & the ABS pump to a flexible one if you want total adjustment.
See item # 43060B

If you hunt around they can be had for a little over $300 US

Another option would be to raise the seat

Policy - Find something simple.....and Complicate it!
Re: ZX14 lowering pegs
The seat is not an option as I already did the controls a reach

Why don't you try talking to SNAFU, he lowered the rear pegs (very tidy job indeed), maybe he might have some thought's on fronts.MKY wrote:I have a new zx14 and would like to lower the pegs for a bit more leg room. Anyone know of some options

Knight Design will come up if you search Ebay in the US.
Not cheap but very high quality finish.
They drop a full inch but you will need to loose the stock exhaust covers or be running aftermarket.

How about off the shelf loweriñg kits for pillion pegs, as someone said SNAFU fabricated his but my metal working skills are somewhat lacking....
Re: ZX14 lowering pegs

Re: ZX14 lowering pegs
I just fitted a pair of Knight Design 1" 3/8 lowered pegs with the Quadtrax tread and they have made a massive difference for comfort.
I'm 6'5 so I need all the legroom I can get - these pegs are awesome - build quality is exceptional and totally worth the $$$.
Just need to trim a little thread off the footbrake adjusting rod so I can bring down lower
