New to GoPro.

Post by Zedex 6 »

We just used our Hero 2 for the first time from PI, can you plug the SD card into a Panasonic Plasma TV and view video image through that source, we tried and all we can view is photos on the card.
A mate of mine purchased the Contour and his card works in my TV to view photos and video images.
Do we have a problem with card, or is this the norm with GPro. Computer opens them with Quicktime or DVx with no problem.
What is the best and simplest video editing software you guys use.
Cheers John

Not sure about the SD card into the TV doodad.

But you should be able to plug the gopro into the teev with the yellow, red and white jacks provided....
I think then once its plugged in...scroll through the cam settings menu till you find a play icon "triangle arrow".

It's more likely to be the TV not being able to read that file... My old Toshiba can't, only shows pics. I have a newer Samsung that reads them all though.

Easiest video editing will be iMovie in Mac.
