My ZXR750 L3 has 91,000kms on it so yes, it's getting on.
A couple of weeks ago it began misfiring after I had left it over the weekend (I ride it to work most days).
After warm-up it jus began misfiring on at least one cylinder, but I'm not sure which one, or if it's the same one each time.
After a few kms it seemed to clear up, but fanging it didn't clear anything, and the plugs are new.
Then it just conked out on me last week.
Rang my mechanic and he said to check the fuel pump, which I did. No action from the pump, so I bought a 2nd hand one on Find a Part, got it and fitted it.
All working well until yesterday when it began misfiring again, so it's sitting in the garage at home waiting for a solution.
I checked the fuel pump again and it's working well, so it has to be something like ignition?
Any ideas or past experience with similar please?
All help appreciated.

Check your leads, they can separate from the cap sometimes.

Re: ZXR750 L3 running rough
If it conked & you changed the pump & it went again then that says its a fuel issue.
How old is the fuel filter, if its blocked then maybe the pump struggled & went out, im not sure how they work, maybe it split a diaphragm.
Electrical s usually just die & don't come back.
Check the fuel strainers in the tank, you'll have to unscrew them out of the underside of the tank.
Check the fuel lines for splits or cracks that might be sucking in air.

Looking forward to the quiet life !
