Hi,
I need some info, I have a zx6r 2010 and want to remove the rear vision mirrors for a track day, do the screws that go into the fearing have nuts on the back of them or do they just screw into a thread already in the mounting. I can’t see into the back of them without removing the fearing which I want to avoid. I don’t want to unscrew the mirrors and have the nuts drop into the fearing. I want to then buy a blanking plate to put over the top of when the mirrors screw into for the track day.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
Fossi

Re: zx6r 2010 mirrors
I dont know the proper name but they screw into rubber mounts (gromits?) that have the thread. So just unscrew them, remove them and screw them back in. Alternatively leave them on and when your at the track stick tape over the mirrors. U wont even remember they are there after a session of fun

Or if your a bit nervous about the fairing, get some plastic washers to protect the fairing a little better whilst the mirrors are removed
