ZX7R Slipper Clutch

Post by redzedx7r »

:D not sure if this one has already been posted, but i found it on Kawiforums (i think?). Basically the crux of the story goes is that all post 96 zx7r's have a slipper clutch fitted as std and all you need to activate it is to change to some thinner clutch plates plus stronger springs.
Has anyone here tried it?

You guys post it, and I'll have a go at it before my next track day.

Yeah, heard ages ago it had the slipper clutch and all that. Didn't know it was that adjustable though! Not that I'd ever try touching it.

Actually, the 91-95s have it as well. When I rebuild the valvegear, I'll have a go at adjusting mine and report on what difference it makes.

Cheers,
