G'day mate ,welcome to what I call "Team Green Central".A place where you'll find all sorts of handy/interesting/useful and useless information!

I fitted a set of ZRX footpegs, with rubber inserts, to my girls then ride an '07 ER-6,for the exact same reason, vibration. I had to give the ZRX pegs a soft run on a bench grinder for them to fit properly, didn't have to take much off. The pins fitted very easily but pegs would'nt fold all way down, hence the final shaping on the grinder.According to my girl Kerry it worked a treat.
You may be able to find something at a wreckers that fits staight up.This is what i did so if it helps ,goodoh ! :-D
I luurrve the smell of 2stroke in the mornin'.

Would be good to know if a suitable peg can be found. Factory pegs for Er6ns cost $90!!!!!!!!!!!! Peg only. I bought chinese zx6r,zx10r, pegs which look identical and seem to be similar in strength- break sometimes, but not always when the bike is dropped, for $12 A PAIR to my door off ebay and they come with springs, pivots and c washers. No rubber on top though. :(
2 X ZRX1200R 4 X ER6N, GT550, 1988 ZX-10, 4 X GPZ250R, 4 X GPZ900R and GPZ750R :) Yeah I like Kawasakis.

thanks guys, i will try and check out the wreckers this weekend.
also has anyone had a problem with the vibration getting worst (unbearable) between 4000-5000rpm after i installed a set of crash knobs i bought on e-bay.
had to ditch them, a waste of $120.

Check for frame cracking near the right hand top engine mount ..... was a warranty issue on some '05/'06 models.

There were revised factory crash knobs issued in '06/'07 because the original brackets were cracking ( mine were replaced under warranty ).

These came with spacer washers to take up the gap when the engine was unbolted from the frame to fit the crash knobs.

These spacers were intended to relieve tension stress in the the frame/engine mount.

HTH ..... ;)
