Hi guys,
Im checking the valve clearance on my 1992 ZXR250C. i've measured all my shims etc just not certain if i should be ordering 8.00mm diameter shims or 7.5mm diameter shims?
My existing shims are measuring 7.95mm diameter so im assuming 8.0mm. Although, doing some searches i have come across people stating they "THINK" its 7.5mm diameter. Can anyone confirm from experiance just so i can be certain?
Cheers

Re: ZXR250 Shim Size
I had 2 engines and both had different diameter shims (both c model engine to)
Can't remember what diameter they were but they were Definatly different, whatever they are just get the same but the thicknesses you need.
Try precision shims, I think there in Melbourne, google them there Awsome to deal with cheap and super quick turnover

Re: ZXR250 Shim Size
thanks for the reply timmy.
i have placed an order with precision shims. the guy there said the ZXR250 uses 7.9mm shims which they sell as the 8.0mm shims (rounded up).
