New guy from Darwin
Hey guys and girls I'm from Darwin and am the current owner of a 2012 ZX6 after destroying my GSXR600 earlier in the year (funny how ability doesn't always match ambition....) Anyways, so far I've added Double bubble screen, ixil slip on pipe and a hot bodies under tail with integrated indicators (was 6hrs worth of pain, but it looks awesome) have got shorty levers and hal lines waiting to go on when i get a chance. I just bought a VFR400, with an xt600 motor as a track bike but really enjoying the ninja on the roads. Anyways, I look forward to chatting with a few of you and hopefully getting some good ideas.

Re: New guy from Darwin
So, as I've seen in other introductions, people like to see some background stuff. So here I go, my first road bike was an 09 ninja 250. It had a green hotbodies screen, yoshimura slip on and fender eliminator
I then upgraded to an 09 GSXR600, with fender eliminator, black double bubble screen, crash knobs, ixil slip on and shorty levers. Last dyno'd at 114hp@ wheel. Not bad for stock
This met an ugly death due to an off camber, downhill, double apex left hander out the back of Canberra.
Final damage report was: every fairing scratched or cracked, both rims destroyed, both tyres destroyed, forks and frame bent, fuel tank relocated 1-2" rearwards as a result of the frame bending upwards. Damage to me: a few bruises and a sore neck. Only bit of gear needing replacing was the helmet. The hardest part was looking at my pride and joy in pieces.
I then replaced my baby with a 2012 ZX6 as shown above and couldn't be happier. I prefer the looks of the GSXR, but to ride, definitely prefer the ninja.
