I'm 6"2 with a zx10. In order to have a comfortable position while braking and cornering, I need to sit slightly further back from the tank so I'm not hunching over from the waist too much. However, when I'm braking, I have issues with sliding forward (to the tank - which puts me in an uncomfortable position for the corner) or I have to hold my bodyweight on the bars and then attempt to quickly push my butt back a bit to start the turn in. I've seen a few of the seat mods out there, but I was wondering if there was anything people had seen that affixes to the back of the tank or something (like dense foam perhaps) to prevent my body from sliding too far forward? Hope that's not too weird a question...
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Mick

Re: Seat mods?
G'Day Mick and welcome to the forum
If you see Mick at MJM he makes a great seat and will make it to suit and or help to fix any probs. Not too far to travel either as he is in Goulburn, or you can post.

I have used his seats on nearly all my bikes for a long time now. If you want to see what his work is like am happy to organise something
cheers

Re: Seat mods?
Its a bit of a hike from Canberra, but if you give Kev a call at VCM, he may be able to sort you out. He does custom work to suit your needs... A ksrc sponsor, but his prices are still better than competitive anyway. Contact details and some pic's of his work here. http://www.vcmcycleseats.com.au/

Re: Seat mods?
Thanks Kwakked Up for the tip. I've been looking for a bike seat specialist to add a couple of inches in height to my ZRX 'Mr Wog' modded seat and I have not been that impressed with Kev's work at VCM, so I might have to give MJM a call get him to do it.
