air filter

Hey guys, was just wondering how i would go bout cleaning the air filter on my 2011 650r?
I want to do it tomorrow and quite unsure on how to get to it.

On the 2012 the air cleaner is a wet paper filter, which cannot be cleaned , if it's not idling properly it could be the air-suction valves which are essentially a check valve that only let's fresh air in2 the exhaust port. The valves need to be checked & adjusted for clearance because they can remain partly open due 2 wear which will affect the timing but this should really only be done by a dealer.
