2006 zx10 fi light issue

hi , have had the fi light randomly com on , not sure wats wrong. going off other post seems to happen to modified zx10s, this one is stock as a rock.... bike seems to run fine when it is on...

Any ideas of wat to check would be great

try the servo buddy thing, just made mine, $1.60, parts from jaycar.works a treat, so far...

not much help tho if u still got standard pipes with the ex/up flap still there.

Someone should still have a servo motor u could try, that will tell u if thats the problem. easy try, unplug urs plug in test one, no light, prob solved.

I know yours is a Gen2 but on my Gen3 when you have a FI light on go to the ododmeter readout and hold the reset button for 2 sec this should bring up the fault code. But the fault has to be active to get the number it doesn't have a last fault in memory

The Servo motors tend to be a bit dodgey after a while. As the guys have said above plug in a different servo motor or servo buddy to see if that helps

where are you? I could pull my servo out of the tracky if you want to try it?

I had the FI light come on, but this was becuase my stator was buggered and not charging the battery. Unfortunately no warning sign comes up untill you have hardly any battery left, happened to me about 20 ks into the national park; once the light came on bike died 1k later :x
