Leaving the army, looking for work, help please

Hi guys I know I'm pretty new here but thought I'd put the word out in case anyone can help, who you know and all .
I'm a 40ish intelligence operator in the ADF and after several trips away I'm making a change to be home more with the family. Quals in lots of security related fields, OH&S, training and assessment, and also an electronics tech. Really keen on getting into the mines, particularly FIFO of Brisbane as I have three kids in High School but will look further a field.
Just need a foot in the door in security, or Community liaison (my speciality), or anything else where I can prove myself and move up the chain, if anyone has good ideas or someone to contact please let me know, would be forever in your debt.

Ring a consulting firm, they might be interested in someone with your skill set. Also, with the recent changes to WHS legislation there is a fair bit of work around for that sort of stuff, and having contacts in Defence is like catnip to consulting firms.

I'm based in Canberra but the firm I work for is going gangbusters in Brisbane and on the hunt for talent.
