you can use almost any slave cylinder you like mate - I have seen conversions with Honda parts & Kawasaki parts. It doesn't really matter which slave cylinder you choose, as there will have to be a custom sprocket cover made up to suit the conversion anyway. If you can get a decent kawasaki slave cylinder from a Rex or even something like a ZXR 750, it will do the job.

The good ? lighter clutch pull with h/d springs. No snapped clutch cables. Looks trick.

the bad ? Having to bleed the system. Slave cylinders that leak. No ability to adjust the throw on the lever (well, limited ability).

Personally I wouldn't bother with this conversion as it adds complexity - how much simpler can you get a clutch than a cable-operated version ? But a lot of punters swear by it. It is easy enough to increase the mechanical advantage with a cable system anyway, if you fit mogumbo springs to your clutch.....

dead right mate - most of the time it is the streetfighter crowd who like to add a bit of bling to old-school motors. Doing this conversion to a Z9 motor is nothing new either, the first one I saw was almost 20 years ago.....it was impressive back then
