Hi everyone. I'm Aaron from Wollongong. I thought I'd join up here to talk to and hopefully meet some like minded people, as I haven't been able to convince any mates to get on a bike yet.
I had ridden dirt bikes as a kid, but was never allowed to have a motorbike licence while under the old folks rules. Since flying the nest things have changed, I'm on my l's for the time being, and last Friday I picked up my brand new 2012 ninja 650rl. Black, with a bit of wanky red rim tape to go with the rear spring. it looks a treat and I love it. Have only had a very quick ride over the weekend and once to work during the week. Too bloody cold or windy at the moment.
Eventually I would like to fit a two brothers full system with the black carbon muffler to the bike, and a fender eliminator to get rid of the giant ducks tail, but for the time being I want to concentrate on getting my skills and confidence up, as well as getting off these l plates as soon as possible.

Welcome Reddog. Which end of Wollongong are you from? The Nasho end or the Jamberoo end?

It would appear i've picked the wrong time of year to buy a bike. Wind, rain and bloody cold.
Was hanging to get out on sunday but mother nature thought otherwise.
