Risers for a 04 Crim

Post by pittster »

Morning all just a quick queestion,

some of you met my mate Gibbo at gingers a couple of weekends ago on his 04 Crim he towers at around 6"8, when we returned from gingers via walcha then thunderbolts and getting lunch at gloucster he had enough back aching wrist sore, was ready to get a taxi :D I guess 1000km's in 2 days & 5 laps of the oxley had something to do with it

So he is looking into doing some risers on his bike for better posture and not wanting to hate riding due to the pain.

Obviously it only needs a top yoke bolted to the triple tree, new bars (insert x brand), longer clutch cable & extended brake lines.

We found this kit in the UK http://www.topyokes.com/comfort_kit_+_handlebars/268

I imagine to DIY and get the parts would cost maybe $400-450 Anyone know of the kit and if its any good.

Also have read Watties right up about his new old new crim with risers and pro's & cons.

So i guess the question is whats the best way to go about this, UK kit, DIY or something else.

DIY can be done easily by gibbo

Thanks
