My new dirt weapon
Hey guys, thought I'd show off my new dirt bike. This the first dirt bike I've owned in roughly ten years.
It's a 2007 Kawasaki KX450F, and I got it off my boss for $4000. I'm fortunate enough to know the full history of the bike as it was my best mates bike before it was my bosses.
It's a little high on the hours, It's done 85 hours with a clearance check at around 45 hours. Regular servicing and the engine is still strong starts first kick every time.
Ill treat it to a rebuild as money allows.
It's had a few hop ups done to it, Pro Circuit T4, Tag Bars, Sunline clutch lever, green rims, suspension upgrade, blah blah blah the list goes on.
Love the bike, it has slightly longer gearing running 13/48 which makes it a little more tame.
Good to be back on a dirty after so many years. The local so far is Lue. It's a bit of a hike from Rouse Hill but worth it.
I hope to get out on it as much as I can so Ill post up when we go out for rides, see who's keen.
Cheers
Jono
