ZRX Milestone

Post by Strika »

I took this pic when out on a ride with Vivek ages ago and forgot to post it up! All those numbers, a tip over on black ice over Hotham and apart from a hole in a carb diaphragm (which was caused from crud in the tank from the accident) it has never let me down. I don;t even think the little rattle is a cam chain now, i think it's something under the tank which is worn or loose. So far, the ZRX is probably the best bike I have ever owned. It's certainly the only road bike I have kept for this long. I can't remember exactly when I bought it, but probably 07? 08?, so I've had it for at least 4 years, maybe 5?? But it's longer than I have ever kept a roadie. 8)

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

I remember that ride. Nice roads they were. But only a bit too much of straight roads to get there...

So is the Rex better than the 05 zx6 you had?

Mine has about that on it now as well - although the speedo shows 13 oddK - and I'm with you Marty, best bike ever.

Although, you may be able to update it next year ;) You heard it here first ;)   8)
