Kawasaki servicing adelaide

Post by large »

Now I've moved to Adelaide from Brisbane and Darcy Bliesner isn't here.....

I'd appreciate some recommendations for bike workshops here in adelaide to service my beloved ZZR.

I live in the southern suburbs so ideally someone down south. (will go north for the right guy)

I'm not tooled up enough to do it myself, really need someone who can go from front to back of the bike, give the bike a thorough inspection whilst they service it, not just do a tick and flick of the owners manual.

Looking at minor and major services (shim tappets etc) can do brakes, forks, bearings etc - the whole thing.

Don't want to get ripped off but do not mind paying for quality service.

Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

thanks.

Call Greg at GS Moto. He's on Rundle Rd, Salisbury South. He used to be the head mechanic at one of the Yamaha dealers, but has gone out on his own. He's a no bullshit, hard working mechanic who is thriving on word of mouth.

Not sure what his number is. Drop in and see him.

Also consider race bike services in Lonsdale.

If they were closer to where I live I wouldnt use anyone else. Have a real passion for what they do!

Hi all, I have a new ZX-14R bought from Peter Stevens Kawasaki Morphett Vale. I see no mention of getting a service there, anything I should know about ?

i can vouch for neville lush at victor harbour aswell, i just had him do some work on my zzr and i now have more work lined up for my dads zx12 an my zx12, great normal guy that really knows his stuff.

i do 99% of my own work and i was really hesitant on letting anyone touch my bike but after he showed me around, had a chat, and even let me help him out with my bike, thats where all my bikes will be going in the future. :D

I got a guesstimate quote from them, way too much $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for a basic service.

ASI Motorcycles,
unit 3, 48 O`Sullivan Beach Rd
LONSDALE, SA, 5160

Got the fork seals and pads done there a month or so back - top bloke. I think they are a husband and wife running the shop, really good customer service.
Keep it all in the dirty south.

They blew up a mates bike a few years ago, whilst it was on their dyno. He wasn't happy
