Nah, she couldn't have been getting lapped.....

If you listen to the interviewer he says Amy is the only female mixing it competitively against the guys and that she's a 'Pioneer' of women in motorcycle racing. :P ;)

(Sophie Lovett and previous female racers that cut it like, Rebecca Belbin, Cath Thompson, Linda Walsh, Kim Warburton etc.)

Agreed.

P.S. don't start this discussion with a group full of alcohol fueled women. It gets very passionate as Firey and Red Dave can attest ;)

Also states she is running in the Australian super bike championship.
Didn't see her at round 1 this year. Only saw her at selected eastern creek rounds last year.

I find the way he talks is quite irritating, But Amy did a good interview.

Yeh, now you've mentioned her name, I remember Amanda racing the Harley and met her too, nice chick. I'm sure there's a number of females that I've missed. But at the same time, I'd love to be able to ride as fast as Amy, and Sophie who is pretty much doing as good a times as Amy now, and some of those other girls mentioned from the past.

Unfortunately that self preservation thing has kicked in with age and the realisation that if it all goes wrong it's going to hurt lots more now.
