Man dies after motorcycle collision - Chifley

A report is being prepared for the Coroner after the death of a motorcyclist in Sydney’s east.
About 6.45pm today (Tuesday 21 February 2012), a motorcycle was travelling north along Anzac Parade at Chifley has left the road and hit a telegraph pole.
The male rider was thrown from the motorcycle but died at the scene.
Anzac Pareade is closed between Little Bay road and Kennyu Avenue at Chifley to allow investigators to make inquiries at the scene.
Anyone who might have seen the motorcycle travelling along Anzac Parade before the crash should contact Maroubra Police or Crime Stroppers on 1800 333 000.
