BST Carbon Wheels
Any body no much about Carbon wheels ? how strong they are or how much HP they will handle, weight they will handle? I have a set on my RS Aprilia project bike but if it doesn't all come together l might put them on the ZRX, but l no nothing about them except they look great and are light as. Any idea's????????

Re: BST Carbon Wheels
I would imagine that they would be fine, been thinking about a set for my ZX10 track bike.Coop wrote:Any body no much about Carbon wheels ? how strong they are or how much HP they will handle, weight they will handle? Read a bit about them, AMCN put a set on a big hp blade they did up a little while ago. heard stories that their stronger than OEM orginal's.
Try googling BST wheels, would prob give u the imfo.
There's a guy on this forum that has them on his ZX10 track bike. and their not shy on hp,

Re: BST Carbon Wheels
Maxumis has them on his 12R, which is a heavy-arsed barge that puts out a crap-tonne of torque. I think many other 12 riders have used em, and I've never heard of one getting damaged via spirited riding... Extra care does need to be taken when changing tyres is all. (don't do it manually, use the proper machine)
I'll get a set one day for my 12R, after I get rich.
