New member to site :-)

Hey all,

New to the Kawasaki site and bike club.

Had a couple of dirt bikes and a Yamaha road bike but recently brought a

2008 zx6r (was sold as a 636 special edition but i don't believe they made a 2008 636, but hey i wouldn't know and don't care as i love the bike)

Such a great bike to ride and has plenty of power to boot!!! Found the front end a little heavy into corners but slowly getting used to it. Has an awesome note and only gets better as the revs increase. Has a Fender eliminator and crash knobs. Pretty much just a very clean nice bike.

Nice :)
The wheels look like L/E model. does it have the L/E badge on the tank?
Because the red flame stickers come off with a hair dryer. but the L/E badge is cleared over.
Anyway welcome :kuda: :kuda:

Welcome, super yummo ride.

I'm pretty sure that 2008 was the last year of the 636. Can someone clarify?
Half the wheels.....twice the fun!!

Nope. 636 ended in 2006. They all have been 599 since..

Thanks for the comments guys.

I'm in Wodonga which is right on the nsw border.

The tank doesn't have anything but the Kawasaki stickers on it from what i have seen.

I would like to get an after market exhaust. I like the Jardine one as it keep the twin tip look. Looks a bit better then the Aprokavic i think. I haven't heard one in person before so im not sure how it will sound. Would just be a slip on not a full system. What are the thoughts of people on here?
