Filter and Pads

Post by funky »

So its time for a service on the 10, I think it needs new front pads, are there certain brands to steer clear of, any can be recomended?
Was also thinking of a K&n air filter, hear a lot of for and against?
Any advice would be greatfully appreciated.

EBC HH will do the job, good wear to.
K/N should be fine, i use pipercross, but thats just my preference, been using these for years.
K/N been around for ever, a better known brand.

BMC race filter is better than K&N (at least on the 12). Having said that I'm using K&N... cheaper.

BMC good rep to, any of those well known brands will do for what he wants, and last forever, work out cost of oem ones u have to keep replacing, and good after market one will end up shit load cheaper anyway.
Ive been really happy with pipercross, use the race one, but i dont beleave the hype about the extra hp they claim!!! pipercross not so well known here, but popular O/S
