A little help here....... please.
Currently in Burnie Tas, half way through a 10 day tour and late this afternoon while lubing the chain i discovered these marks on the rear tyre.
It appears to be part of the manufacturing process as you can see by the rounded edges of the groove, and the fact that it goes completly around the tyre, with the same mark in each tread.
Have not been doing any burn outs or been on dirt roads, only highway riding. Which by the way in Tasmania is fantastic in a lot of areas.
My main concern is the tyre may be de-laminating.
any one seen this before
Cheers
Rusty

Re: A little help here....... please.
Cheers,
Thanks heaps. For what it is worth the Bridgstones are performing brilliantly. Using all the tyre in the hard and fast twisty stuff as well as the high speed tight corners.
The roads here in Tas are great, even the secondary roads.
Will do a trip report when I get back late next week.
Cheers

Just watch out for those logging trucks, they use both sides of the road at speed on bends and don't care what's coming the other way
