Heard there have been some changes at Brighton Kwaka and not for the better, can anyone confirm?

Ok haven't received that message but get them all the time from a few Kwaka dealers but what I have heard is the business has lost both Mick and Frank the head mechanic and if that's the case that's a major worry I reckon.

As posted above, as I understand it Brighton Kawasaki no longer has Mick Bubb or Frank the head mechanic that has been there for ages there and workmanship has gone to shit, that's all I have heard but heard it from a bloke that haws spent a lot of time and money at Brighton Kawasaki over a number of years.. heading out that way myself in the not too distant future to promote the Toy Run so will confirm first hand next week.

Hearing ya Mal, not exactly a great ride for me to get there either but did buy my bike before this from there, will probably be getting mine serviced by Kon now too I reckon if what I heard turns out to be true.

Done deal...Mick and Frank have gone. Fiona is still the owner. Det is still in the workshopand is a consumate mechanic that respected and got respect from Frank as far as I saw
They will both reappear somewhere else.
I wish Frank well.... a nicer bloke you cannot meet

The owner of Brighton Kawasaki is sadly retiring. Brighton Kawasaki will cease trading on the 20th of June 2012. All stock will be heavily discounted until that date. Thank-you for your support and happy riding! not sure if its true or the have been hacked but will ring them in the morning

yep...went in this morning ( I drive past each day on the way to work)
DIRTY great sign out the front...closing down sale closing June 22 all on sale.

Fiona was behind the counter and Mick was there wandering in and out of the workshop.
Other than ..'its sad we are closing' from Fiona I could not get anything about the reasons why
About as best it got was ...we won't have a business to run come this weekend ..from Fiona

The place is half empty , the showroom having seen better days with not much in the way of
clothing helmets boots etc left or even bikes !. Apart from a few people still bringing bikes
for a service while I was there the place was pretty quiet (not unexpected though...if you are closing up)

Its a bit sad ...as I have been a customer for the best part of 30 years :(
GOTTA LUV the 12R!!
