2008 Z1000 help needed!!

Post by s man »

A friend is looking at a set of mufflers for her 08 Z1000>> http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GP-Carbon-Ex ... 255fd90a86

Ive had a look at the bike & the standard mufflers have an exup sort of arrangment, with cables going into the link pipes.
Can someone tell what this is & can it be disconected without any problems, & does this the new mufflers need this to work etc etc.
Thanks

Yep too easy ;) ....The servo is on the side of the bike aswell unlike some of the other model's where it's under the seat....

I know it's not in english but this give's you the general idea where it it located ;)

The purpose of that valve was to increase back pressure at lower RPMs to give better low end performance. Jim Beam Decreases back pressure on the brain, only if you have 10 to 35 shots.
