Has anyone ever swapped the Z1000 03-06 front guard for either an 07-09 model or maybe an 05-06 ZX6 one?
Does anyone maybe have a damaged guard they dont mind me borrowing to see if brackets can be made to fit it?
I am doing the ZX6 fork conversion and using 03-04 model forks, but now I wish I bought the 05-06 to fit the newer models front guard. Always liked the 3-piece look. I saw the 05-06 has the brackets as part of the lower fork, whereas the older model has alloy brackets.
