bought the Black Vision R a few months back, fantastic vision for the sportsbike rider, drop down tinted visor seems a bit dicky at first but soon comes into its own when daylight savings finished...... its briliant!
Not bad for a $400 helmet.

Yep, but mine is the Black Myth. Very happy with it. Less wind noise than my last Shark (RSF2Race)
It was a bit weird at first with the tinted visor down you still get a clear section underneath, but i'm used to that now.
Only other thing is with the extra vision (larger opening), when your riding directly into a very low sunrise/sunset, you can't just tilt your head down and use the top of the helmet as a sun visor. But not a big issue really...
Make sure you try it on as I got 1 size down from my usual... Bikebiz at Parramatta have them for $449 as well... with a Loyalty card I paid just over $400 ;)

I got the Helmet $405, Sharktooth $260 and a free Muc-off Visor Cleaner ($4.99 value)... so $665 all up...
Sharktooth (Bluetooth) is great for listening to music and answering the phone on the go. Top quality reception...

Thanks for the feedback. Was looking at that or the HJC with the same internal visor. Obviously shark a better brand and wind noise was the big factor for me. Was going to pick the one I posted up at South oz when I get Jonno's bike. Really like the graphics as well.
Looks like a sale.

I just got my Shark the other day and its brilliant.

I'm a bit concerned about the noise i get from what looks like the visor not sealing properly along the sides but i'll get the visor off and see if it needs to be seated properly.

Other than that it a brilliant helmet with tons more vision than my old AGV. Fits my head better than the AGV did and is lighter.

I paid $420 for mine from Team Moto in Brisbane.

I updated my AGV recently to this little sucker. http://www.shark-helmets.com/product.ph ... %20English

Added the black visor. Really happy with it.

$499 as there was a Shark promotion at Motorworks Motorcycles in Hobart.

Got myself a Vision R a couple of days ago. Very nice. Much quiet - I was sitting at an intersection today in a really strong wind and it was still quiet inside the lid. The drop down visor is a massive improvement over the one in my Evoline and I even got my Autocom gear in the right spot first up.
Best part is that I got it for $385. 8)
