Lowering handlebars on GTR1400

Post by pwelsh64 »

I am looking to see if anyone has lowered the handlebars on a GTR1400 as I find the sit upright position a bit limiting when I want to play through some twisties.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Unfortunately the risers for a GTR are a block that the original handlebars mount on with extra length bolts so I cannot invert them.
Nice idea though

I am currently waying up trading in for a ZX14 or a hayabusa. But the touring benefits of the GTR (and change over $$) is making me look at the options to convert the GTR into a sportier ride.

Teheeeeeee

I think it really comes down to just finding a fabricator in your local area though if you really want to lower them....?

I raised my bars on my GPZ750r ( 900 same ) & I believe the GTR has a similar fit...send me a photo of your bar base and measurements & I may have 2 options for you
