Stuck in Christchurch

Hi all, just an update well stuck in nz as no flights. Should have been home yesterday. This place is scary shit. Had 5.3 earthquake last night with 7 aftershocks and a 4 at three am . Two more tonight and more predicted. Over it want to come home.
We don't know how lucky we are in Sydney I tell ya. Hopefully be back this weekend as no flights. Take care all see u soon.

Yeah and they dont have Ghostbusters 2 on TV tonight either. You loss :kuda:

Ha! Been there done that! I was stuck there last week for 2 days, are you flying Jetstar? I ended up changing to Emirates and got back to Sydney with them.
If you get bored you could always go and paint my old mans garage roof, I ran out of time last week :?
Where are you staying? Hopefully the "safer" west side of town?

Nope! Christchurch is flat, if you want to ride twists you either ride the port hills (pretty much out of limits with rockfalls at the moment) or go over to the west coast (good ride!)

If it isn't earthquakes stopping flights, it's volcanoe dust clouds..... I thought initially when you posted up that the earthquakes might disrupt some of your plans, but never figured on the volvanic ash grounding you! Oh well, just think of it as another of those things you can tell your grandkids which they won't believe!!! :lol:
