Hi blokes,ive stripped the zx down and checked the valve clearances and 8 for them are out of spec.So im up to changing the shims(never done this before )
Any tips or advise from you guys that have done this before?

Mark them all very clearly in order of where they came from, you might get a away with swapping some etc, most bike shops should also do a swap plus a small amount of cash...

Well ive just finished putting it back together(got it wrong twice as my markings on the cam and chain came off)
once i settled down and reread the manual until i completely understood what it said(thought i did the first two times) i got it back together
now its smooth as,it was vibrating heaps before and had a really loud rattle.so im happy as larry.
