I'm interested in your views here....
On my track bike, I have Pilot Powers and they seem to be great. I did Philip Island on them and sure, they were trashed a little, but still have plenty on them.
On the new road bike, the 2007 ZX6, I have Super Corsa tyres and I'm not convinced they are as good as the Pilot Powers, especially in the wet.
In your expert opinions, what would be the best for my road bike, with occasional track usage?
Appreciate your feedback!

Re: Road tyres
Alot of it comes down the preference in what feedback you want from a tyre.
PP are a good tyre and if you were happy with them try and get them again.
Otherwise there is
Dunlop Q2 (I liked these but the rear tyre life is questionable)
Dunlop GPA's11 (399 a set ATM fitted by MadAZ)
Bridgestone BT016's (I liked these also but found the fronts only lasted about 3000kms)
Metzler M5's (not a fan of the M3's but the bigger heavier bikes seem to like them)
There are also
Bridgestone BT003's, Michellin Power Races and the Supercorsa's but they dont have that much in the way of water dispersion. They are more a race/TD tyre

Depends on ur road riding. Pilot power now have road 2 (road center, power edge) & pilot power 2ct ( power center & race edge).
I'm very fond of the 2ct, reasonable wear rate & confident & consistent grip

Re: Road tyres
M5s have been getting very good raps.. BT016 is up there with the best too. They would be my 2 choices..
