GPX750

Post by bigmac2x2 »

Hi,

Glad to be joining you all. I have just obtained a GPX750 and want to update the suspension, maybe wheels etc. Don't really care much about the motor, just want the thing to handle well... with my previous bikes, eg, fzr600, a suzuki hayabusa shock was a direct fit, with a swap of the spring. Do the ZXR750 front and rear ends "bolt on" or am I just dreaming.....

Cheers in advance.

I replaced the rear "air" shock on my gpx750 with something that was standard with preload, damping, etc. If memory serves i ended up installing something that was an after market for either a zzr600 or a gpz600. I'm a bit rusty about this & can't remember which though as I haven't owned that bike in about 5 years. So at best i can only give you a hint with where to look though.

If it hurts, you aren't doing it right.
