Hi,
i just recently purchased a integrated tail light/indicators from www.bikemonkey.com
i have hooked it up, the blinkers work fine, however the tail light flashes opposite to the blinker, just wondering if any has had experience with the same tail light kit.
as in if there indicators flash only, or both there tail and indicators flash.
if your tail light stays solid, and the indicators flash, can you please advise how you have the unit wired up.
the guy on bikemonkey seems to think that i have the unit wired up wrongly, but i cant see how i can change it.

Re: integrated tail lights/indicators
Potentially you have the negative of the tail light wired to the positive of the blinker.... So that when the blinker goes 'on' you have zero PD (voltage) across the tail light.
That's he simplest answer that springs to mind.
Track your wiring comPared to the diagram one wire at a time. Check Watties to the bike earth (frame or negative terminal) correctly also.

Re: integrated tail lights/indicators
i pull the bike apart tonight, when i plug one blinker wire in it works fine, as in tail light stays solid and blinker is flashing, when i plug the other blinker cable in, the blinker flashes alternate to the tail light, i don;t feel i have the wires wrong, cos they wouldn;t light up otherwise. any suggestions?
Re: integrated tail lights/indicators
how bright are the blinkers on these units?
