a noob to add to the fold :-)

Post by Trox »

Hi there guys,

My name is Troy, come from the 'Gong and have recently (and finally) got a new bike (Ninja 250R in black). :-)))))))))))))))
Had the beast (well beast for beginners anyway) delivered on Thursday night and since have managed to clock 250km (would have been more if there wasn't so much partying going on this easter/ANZAC long weekend).

I picked up my L's on the Tuesday preeceeding (full car license though).

I said "finally" got a new bike as I've been wanting to get my riders license for more than 10 years!!!!! and lovin it now!

Found this forum while havin a bit of a surf the other day and ended up spending about 4 or so hours havin a read :D ....really liked what people had to say and picked up some good info an tips so thought it sounded like a good forum to join, also enjoyed the few little jokes made here and there by people.

Obviously there's a lot more to me than that but I'm new, haven't riden very much, inexperienced, liked what I've read so far, eager, I believe responsible (as far as riding goes....so far), keen to meet more riders (and go for rides-goin for a little ride this Sunday with a mate) and uuummmm that's about it without blabin on for way too long

Hopefully hear from fellow riders soon

Welcome mate..... The 250r in black is definitely a sexy looking beast (for a learner anyway lol) i have the exact same, but with an akrapovic slip on carbon exhaust...... Sounds a lot nicer..... Nothing like the postie-bike sound of the stock one! =P but there us a lot of knowledge and good people here..... I'm very new also... And have foundainly the same things you mentioned in your opening post... All the best mate! :kuda:

Thanks for the welcome guys, it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling

Yeah I've been told about some of the "nice roads" here Paul, some I already knew, others I didn't and Ill definitely treat with respect until I feel more confident, I went up Mount Keira road the other day which was great fun, albeit slow this time

Tim, very keen to get to the natio with Phil and the rest as soon as I'm a bit more fluent.

This rain is not helping very much though :x , Hopin although not confident that it's at least not raining on Sunday, s'posed to be going for a ride with a mate I haven't seen for about 6 months :-)
