Hey Valentino...

Post by mattyv74 »

FUCK YOU!!! :axe:

This bloke seems to hit other rides more than anyone else out there. How good is he now he's on the shit box Duke that Casey has had to put up with!!!

How is it you can put another rider out and still collect points? The rules are the rules... think they're wrong in this case. :(
It is far better to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even if chequered with failure, than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, as they live in grey twilight that knows no victory nor defeat.

yep,Rossi lost the front same as Moaner,oops....Stoner did last season.A number of times actually.
IMHO,If Rossi did'nt go down he would've run wide and Stoner goes back inside him.
Rossi should've shown some respect to Stoner and taken his helmet off when at Stoners pit.And Stoners comment about ambition outweighing talent
Was also uncalled for. Anyone who thinks Rossi took Stoner down deliberately is kidding themselves.
I reckon we have all said sorry in our pasts when having said/done something in the heat of the moment.
Will be interesting to see what is said by both in the next week!!!

Rossi has already reached desperation stage and his mindset won't improve in the near future as the Duck is Gunna take some sorting.

A true sign of Stoner's international popularity I guess, but uncalled for either way.

no matter wat would of happened there was no way rossi could of pulled up in time.....was going a bit to hot like that accident on the same corner in the moto 2's....riders reckon they can stop latter with the rise in the road through the corner and the wet caught alot of people out.
If rossi had of run wide he would of still got stoner ...... but yes the assistance to stoner was a bit unhelptful.....and his comment was very funny and im sure just a heat of the moment thing....... rossi is known to get very close to his rivals

the marshall thing didn't upset me, as to me it looked like the marshalls looked at Stoners bike, realised it wasn't rideable and moved to Rossi's bike to get him going. So i wasn't in any way thinking it was unfair the way they did it. Watch the replays carefully and maybe you will see what i saw???

As for Stoner's comment about Rossi getting his ambitions and abilities mixed up........Casey said it with a smile on his face and ended it with two thumbs up to Rossi, which to me says........" hey, I agree it was just a fuck up....yeah I'm pissed about it, as you would expect, but It's all good, let's get on with it" 8)

If you look closely Rossi is stuck under the Duc as it slides off the track, Stoner pulls his own bike off and all the marshals run to Rossi's aid, 0 to Stoner. If the bike is well fucked then, yeah fair enough, but seriously? I'm a bit of a closet Rossi fanboi, but that really doesn't seem right or fair to me. Strika, I thought that too, that the shot started with them around Stoner's bike and then they ran to Rossi, I had thought maybe they'd given him a push, thought it was going and rushed on to the next one... but who really knows. It must be hard on the marshalls anyway confronted with two bikes, someone's gotta get a push first right?

Who knows really, but from what I have read from the race reports, Rossi's bike was still running, Casey's had a tilt sensor and stopped. the marshalls were unable to push start Casey's bike anyway from what I understand, so it was probably irrellevent anyway.

But, as I said elsewhere, the whole move from Rossi, just smacks of desperation, not of the unflappable, confident multiple world champion that he is. I think he is struggling so much with the Ducati and knows it. 8)

Aparently Rossi's bike was still running, Casey's not so.

When your racing for cattle stations stuff happens - best thing for me was that Casey had a smile and didnt look like Dani's Australian cousin ;) (a grumpy little sh*t)

interesting and somewhat unbiased read:

http://www.motomatters.com/analysis/201 ... _the_.html

interesting quote:
Casey Stoner faced a much more difficult task. The Australian had cut the engine on his RC212V, to avoid any damage from the bike running on its side. But the Honda's fancy gearbox requires two pins to be inserted in the clutch to allow the engine to be started. It is possible to bumpstart the engine without these pins, but it is extremely difficult.

Darryl Beatie did make mention at the end of the 1HD telecast of how many bikes crashed and couldn't get started again.

back in the 990 days, if you crashed you hung onto the clutch even if you were dying to make sure the bike was still running.
Superbikes do it also.
