Kawasaki lime green spray paint
Kawasaki lime green spray paint
Hi guys.Got an oops i want to patch up and just wondering Is the lime green paint (2010 ninja 250r) available in a spray can on the shelf?Or is it a custom job that needs to be made up to order?
I'm in the inner west and hoping a repco, supercheap,or mca or someone sells it.If not,any recommendations??

You can get it matched at VG Auto Paints at Girraween there on Amax Ave and they can even put it in a pressure pack can for you. There is also another place at Penrith who really good as well but can't remember their name at the moment.

No they don't.Wattie wrote:

The solid green is and has been the same for years. The name has changed a few times i'm led to belive but the paint formula did not. The green on the current ZX10r is the same as the first ZX7r. when I needed to tuch up some stone chips on my 10 we could not get the code for the 10 so mixed up 200mls to the zx7r code and it is the same. When we did find the code for the 10 its formula was the same anyway.
I love my new ZX10. It scares the shit out of me.
Re: Kawasaki lime green spray paint
Ended up only costing $25.Not sure if i had the wrong cost in my head to start with or what, but theres nothing better than finding out something is a lot cheaper than you had planned.
Thanks for the tip Frank.

Re: Kawasaki lime green spray paint
The colour definitely changes from year to year. I remember reading about a guy who stacked his 9R & when he got it repaired they couldn't quite match it cause the info on the exact colour was like kfc's herbs & spices, TOP SECRET.
My 09 250R is slightly brighter than the 2010, and there aint nothing wrong with my eyes.

The only thing that didn't change over the years was the official Green colour for the race teams until 2008.holdontight wrote:No they don't.Wattie wrote:kawasaki change the green every year and bike model.

that *solid green* colour you refer to, has had more changes in hue and saturation over the years than most of us have had a decent blowie. Never has it stayed the same from year to year, if you had a lucky outcome with a match between ZX7R and a ZX10R, that is most definitely the exception and not the rule....
