2009 zx10r with 715kms- sydney
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... TQ:AU:1123
I've talked to this guy and the highest bid or offer he has got on the bike is mine at $11,000. He wants to sell it this weekend. However I'm not going to be able to come down by the weekend so I thought someone here might be interested.
It is unregistered though

I live with fear everyday but on weekends she lets me ride.

bargain imo , im surprised the bike shops havent bought it for that sort on $$
considering i have recently been offered 12.5 trade for the same bike with 8000km's on it on a new zx-10 2011 model.

a few of the sellers I rang have told me the bike shops ring them and offer stupid money for their bikes. They tell them that's all they'll get. For example one guy has his bike for sale for $9500 and they have offered him $6500.
I have to say though that there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason behind how people price their bikes. It seems to be based on what they think of themselves personally and that the bike is an extension of them so it's worth more. Like one guy who had a 2008 bike with 10,000 on the clock. the ad says that this FAULTLESS machine will be sorely missed......always garaged only used on weekends..etc.
I get there and the thing has these quite deep scratches in the right hand side panel, plus paint chips on the front, rusty bits, an unroadworthy rear tyre and two months left on the rego....he wanted $11, 000 for it...faultless my arse....wouldn't take anything less cause he has to pay out the finance on it...not that i wanted it....
Tell 'em he's dreamin'
