I am experiencing rage courtesy of a wannabe thief who tried to steal my bike last night.

My apartment block's security gate has not been working and was supposed to have been fixed, the body corporate called a repairer who "fixed it" but it was stuck open a few days later for a few days.

This morning I went to go to work and look what I found.

The &ucker scratched my paint.


Broke my ignition cartridge.


Ripped these wires out.


I have notified the police, we have a security camera there but as I have 3rd party insurance I will be out of pocket by $x. If the whole unit needs replacing I am up for $800 approx but we will see how it goes. It is booked in for repairs tomorrow so my fingers are crossed.

Well, I am going to go to work now.
Good ol' public transport.

It's a better result that it getting pinched. At least the scum-bag didn't get it. Time to lock it up a bit better, even when the gate is fixed. I had a bike taken years ago from the same sort of garage even though the security gate was working fine.

When I was living in an apartment complex, we had a security garage, and individual lockable cages inside the garage. Got robbed It sucks. I was surprised how filled with rage it made me. I wanted to maim and disfigure the fuckers, so I know how you feel. Sucks that people like that exist
