Crash on the Putty Rd Sun 23rd
I know KSRC do a regular Putty run on Sundays, so hoping someone has some info...
My mate was travelling north on Putty Rd, Sunday 23rd January. At approx 10:00 - 10:30am and 10 kilometres north of the Halfway House, 5 sportsbikes passed unsafely (way too close) over double white lines.
One of the bikes clipped my mate's bike and forced him into the guard rail causing him to high side. His leg got broken and he had to be air lifted. Thankfully he is OK now, he was taken to John Hunter Hospital. He received a plate and some screws to fix his broken leg.
Does anybody know a group of 5 sportsbikes that travelled up the Putty Rd Sundayy morning at that time? They didn't stop and the bike that hit my mate would definitely know he did it because there was damage caused from his bike on my mate's tank.
Please send me a PM if you know anything we'd really appreciate it. I know it is a long shot but somebody might know something.
My mate was wearing a white leather suit and was riding a new Aprilia Dosoduro 1200 hyper motard.
One passer by has a partial number plate of the rider in question so if anyone else saw or has herd anything it would help...

Shit! Longshot, but worth asking the cops to check CCTV footage from obvious refilling locations?

Re: Crash on the Putty Rd Sun 23rd
i heard about it on monday from a mate who was up there on sunday that a bike came down on putty , apparently he said the police car driver had the filthiest look on his face travelling to the scene.
No doubt as a result of this the police will put a blitz on up there shortly.
what sort of bike was this rider on ? this might help narrow it down. Regardless its bad form from at fault clown for not stopping. One passer by has a partial number plate of the rider in question

You would think at least one of the five would have some moral fortitude

Semi witness was was unsure of the bike model, the rider was the last in a group of 5 so i doubt he even told his mates...
