Rust repairs

Howdy folks,

picked up another car the other day and has some minor rust that i wanted to get sorted out. Now ive never repaired or done major paint jobs before.
So was contemplating having a crack at doing it myself. Otherwise can anyone suggest in Melbourne a decent cheap body repair place. I want to get the car back to a condition which looks pretty tidy.

Any suggestions or anyone that has any advice ?
