Riding backpack???

Hey ya all, Hope everyone out there had a great Xmas and having a great start to the new year!!

Just wondering if anyone can suggest or give some recommendations on backpacks for riding. I want one about the 20-25L size. Ive looked them up on the net and found some good ones but its hard to know what you are getting and how they feel so any help would be good! The brands I like so far are the OGIO LESS-DRAG or Kriega...

Look for strongly stitched shoulder straps, waterproof and decent easy to use zippers with gloves on.. Cost a bit extra but you get what you pay for IMO.
I have been using a Caribbean for a few years now, it is still good as new with minimal drag at touring speeds, definitely water proof as far as heavy rain is concerned and I use it to carry all my electronic stuff and documents when commuting and touring rather than having everything in plastic bags in the leaky Ventura bags .(best you test it out before trusting it)

No worries about comfort as you won't need too much padding with a jacket on, remember whatever you carry in it will injure you if you land on it.
Do you want a hydration bladder in it as well?

Try some decent mountaineering/ski/adventurer shops

Only quizin u. Prolly ok without it, but hey, outdoors extreme back packs have been weather proof for many years and cost way less.
Weatherproof meaning any weather and conditions "unless" you imerse it in water.

+1 sport style adventure type backpacks, the type with 2 straps around the front are great as it stays part of you and doesn't move around at all when you move on the bike.

Agreed..but the 2 straps pose a pain in the arse if your the type to wear a bra

Good old aldi backpack,waterproof cover.waist strap multiple compartments and survived being dragged on the rear wheel of my old z900 for quite while before i noticed it had come of my seat.
What was it doing on my seat you ask ?? It had a lot of wieght in it so occy straped it to the seat.

When I was a little tacker, some old dude (probs 45 at least!) said "Always let the bike carry the weight". Have to agree, after seeing a few offs where the shoulder bag or back pack slipped. Andy strapz seat bag? Just a thought. Works for my older son...
