Nope that motor doesn't fit but the previous model one might.
I believe the 93 to 95 zx9r engine is the go.

B series motor or at least the B2 does, I have one but you have to buy the rest of the bike with it I am afraid.

B series will fit. Any 7r engine will fit. I think

It is far better to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even if chequered with failure, than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, as they live in grey twilight that knows no victory nor defeat.

Re: What motor will fit my zxr 750
ZXR 750 L engines are the same as J models externally so will bolt straight in (& give you an extra 15+ HP)
ZX7R engines will not fit without a lot of fabrication & modification.
ZX9R B model engines will fit with very minor clearancing mods to the top mount on the cylinder head casting & frame webbing as per MadKaw's link.
Go for the 9 if you can get one, the torque boost is a thing of beauty & you'll be blessed with around 40 more horses than the 750 J & because it's a 9, each one of those horses has the grunt of a Clydesdale & the speed of a thoroughbred Stallion
If you do go for the mighty 9 POWERplant, use the 750 L 38mm carbs instead of the stock 40s, tons better bottom end, midrange & throttle response & you'll never notice the 3 or 4 HP you lose @ 10K+ rpm.
Back me up Timbo.

94-97, that should be. 96-97 is better, as the clutch spins slower improving the shifting.MadKaw wrote:Nope that motor doesn't fit but the previous model one might.
